All I want for Xmas....
Hey friends~ Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season wherever you may be. Hopefully you're warmer than I am now, supposed to be a high of 12F tomorrow with lake effect snow warnings through saturday...at least it's gonna be a white Christmas.. Saw this article today and it made me laugh, http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe/12/23/oxfam.goats/index.html ,considering what I did for the last two years. If anyone needs a last minute present idea I'd have to give this one a positive recommendation. I could give you all kinds of pointers on how to take care of them... Merry Christmas and Best Wishes everybody! Current Mood: happyCurrent Music: Van Morrison | | Saturday, December 11th, 2004 | | 2:03 am |
Tribute
RIP Dimebag "I wonder if we'll smile in our coffins while loved ones Mourn the day, the absence of our faces, living, laughing, Eyes awake. Is this too much for them to take? Too young for ones conclusion, the lifestyle won. Such values you taught your son. That's how. Look at me now. I'm broken." Current Music: Pantera | | Thursday, December 9th, 2004 | | 12:04 am |
fake plastic trees
i think i may have seen one of the most pathetic things i've ever seen today. the christmas tree my folks intend to put up...i have a couple gripes with it: 1. it's fuckin plastic 2. it's comes with pre-attached lights...PRE-ATTACHED LIGHTS!!! 3. it's made out of the kind of plastic that you can manipulate the shape of, almost like rubber or something... i feel like i'm in miami os something, this is michigan for christ's sake, you can go out and chop one down anywhere you want!! in fact i think that's my job tomorrow....just wish that came with salary and dental... even retards make baskets sometimes...
"The American people must understand that democracy just doesn't happen overnight," he said. "It is a process. It is an evolution. After all, look at our own history. We had great principles enunciated in our Declarations of Independence and our Constitution, yet, we had slavery for a hundred years. It takes a while for democracy to take hold. And this is a major first step in a society which enables people to express their beliefs and their opinions." ... (in reference to Iraqi elections) This is the first intelligent thing I've heard Dubya say in 4 years.... Current Mood: goodCurrent Music: Sparta |
